When Candezent Advisory, a global partnership of highly experienced senior business executives and advisors, approached Ideal Interface to design and build a professional website for them, we relished the challenge.
Taking their existing brand assets, we worked with Candezent Advisory ‘s team using an agile and JAD (joint application development) approach to quickly create a working online website, that could then be incrementally populated via a WordPress Content Management System with their text and imagery. The user experience of the site needed to be compatible with all devices, so we designed the site to work “mobile first” and then to be responsive in layout across all tablet and desktop sizes too.
The result speaks for itself at https://candezent.com . But we prefer to use the words of Candezent Advisory founding partner Alan Treadgold:
“Thanks to the swift and collaborative work of Ideal Interface, we now have a first-rate online presence that properly reflects our vibrant community of professionals”
The outdoor gear brand traffic has hired digital strategy and marketing consultancy Ideal Interface to create and implement a multi-channel digital acquisition plan this Autumn for its new “Crosstown” backpack. https://gowithtraffic.co.uk/
The initial aim is to focus on those customers gradually returning to their offices and learning establishments after many months of lockdown and home working.
The Kiltwalk is renowned across Scotland, and beyond, as the organisers of one of the country’s biggest mass participation charity events. It is an iconic fundraising brand where thousands of kilted walkers annually raise money for the charity of their choice. Ideal Interface therefore jumped at the chance to help The Kiltwalk with their digital strategy and website analysis.
Ideal Interface immediately understood that The Kiltwalk needed more than just a generic approach to its online acquisition and measurement efforts, instead it required both bespoke digital analytics support and focused strategic input.
“We pride ourselves in ensuring every client receives the best value of their digital marketing investment. But for The Kiltwalk, every £ really does count.” Hayden Sutherland, Director Ideal Interface
Susanne Morrison, Head of Marketing at The Kiltwalk said “Ideal Interface helped us gain clarity to direct our digital efforts and correctly measure our campaign KPIs. Their highly skilled team provided top quality advice and creative digital solutions. We are really happy with the results ”.
Ideal Interface is delighted to renew our sponsorship of Glasgow Rocks, the only professional basketball team based in Scotland. In a year of such uncertainty, we thought it was important to support an organisation which is driven by their passion for youth development and involvement in the local communities in Scotland. We have enjoyed sharing the Rocks experience with clients, partners and their families, as well as being able to donate the corporate box to charities on occasion.
Good Luck to Glasgow Rocks for the 20/21 Season!
“Thrilled to have Hayden and the team from Ideal Interface on board. Their support emotionally and financially in these toughest of times is really appreciated. Great people and a great business that we’re honoured to have as partners again this season.”
Duncan Smillie, owner Glasgow Rocks
Ideal Interface has delivered another Digital Check-Up, this time for fellow Glasgow Rocks Basketball sponsor DizzyFish Audio Visual.
Following a tried & tested checklist for evaluating an organisation’s website and Social Media presence, Ideal Interface were able to identify several digital quick wins for DizzyFish. This will then help them measure and improve their online customer acquisitions.
DizzyFish Audio Visual owner Dave Wilson stated “We were very impressed with the results of the Digital Check-Up delivered by Ideal Interface. They immediately found some key areas where we can improve our search engine presence and gave us useful insight on our website performance ”

Throughout 2019 Ideal Interface worked with a large number of different organisations and individuals in the transport and mobility sector to develop two API specifications for transport account interoperability (a customer-account API for the consistent integration of purchase, usage and concession data, plus an operator-information API to be the design for a centralised look-up service for all transport providers & MaaS platforms).
The resulted in the release of a draft (v0.9) for peer review in October 2019. Then the subsequent ratification of this standard by industry stakeholders and specialist, leading to its release as version 1.0 on 3rd January 2020.
From this date these specifications have become Open Standards and therefore they are free to adopt and adapt. Meaning any intellectual property Ideal Interface (or any other contributing organisation) has built up during the design process is now surrendered and we no longer manage any further changes. Instead all oversight and further iterations of the Open Transport standards are managed by a Standards Board run by Open Transport Technology Ltd.
Mobility-As-A-Service (“MaaS”) is the concept that users of travel services move away from personally owned means of transportation and instead consume it as an on-demand & pay-per-use service. This modal shift means a user can choose their preferred trip based on cost, time, environmental factors, convenience or a combination of these.
MaaS Scotland [https://maas-scotland.com] has been created as a partnership between Technology Scotland and ScotlandIS, the trade association for Scotland’s digital technologies industry. MaaS Scotland’s aim is to develop national and international links, securing Scotland’s future as one of the leading locations for the development of MaaS.
Ideal Interface has therefore become a member of this organisation, not only because we have clients across the UK transport and travel industries, but also because we are interested in the creation & optimisation of open standards and API-based integration… With the aim that this will create enable greater interoperability and a better user experience across the entire industry.
With less than a week between an initial introduction and the busiest online sales weekend ever, Ideal Interface has helped Knack Bags (https://knackbags.com), a new brand of expandable laptop backpacks, reach new customers via search engine marketing.
‘As a newly-launched e-commerce business, we found ourselves in a jam
the week before Black Friday. Our web development agency recommended
Ideal Interface to us on the Saturday before Black Friday and Ideal
was working on our business that Sunday. The Ideal Interface team
listened to our needs, reviewed how our PPC program was set up and
completely restructured our PPC campaigns to directly focus on our
target keywords. They worked with us continuously, from developing
keyword strategy, identifying productive keywords, competitor
benchmarking, structuring our ad buy and setting up the analysis
needed to optimize our organic search position in time for Black
Friday. Ideal helped us make the most of our PPC budget in the
extremely tight time frame we had.
We are excited to continue to work with Hayden and his team to improve
our online acquisition and targeted digital marketing.’
“Hayden delivered a hands-on, intensive session and provided some key insights into our website and SEO. By the end of the day we had an actionable plan for improvement as well as excellent ideas for future development. We would highly recommend a training session to anyone looking to improve their digital marketing or develop an SEO strategy.”
